Debi's Story
Hi! I went to grade school at St. Patrick's Elementary School with all the other Catholic kids in the area. I can't believe that there were so many of us! I was in Cry-Slurs at Northwest Classen High School and still have a few life-time friends from there. After college at Howard Payne Baptist University in Brownwood, Texas I worked at Federal Reserve Bank in Oklahoma City until I married the love of my life, Curtis.
Curtis and I have three grown sons, Chris who teaches English at a University in South Korea, and Cashion who is a sophomore in college. Our middle son Cory served four years in the US Navy and recently married. I am so thrilled to welcome Whitney into the family and I can't tell you after 31 years how much I enjoy the female companionship!
We moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1996 when United Parcel Service transferred us here. Yes, the summers are hot but we just stay in the air-conditioning and don't wander far from the pool. And the winters...ahh, the winters are just beautiful. There's no need for a coat here, sweaters do just fine. We have a beautiful view of the mountains from our home but don't get me wrong, I do miss our family and friends in Oklahoma and I really miss the green grass!

will never grow up because we love Disney and try to visit one of their theme parks at least once a year. Our boys are just as addicted and though we have traveled on many different vacations together, Disneyland is still our favorite trip.
Curtis and I are both are very involved in church ministries and are active in music and drama. Curtis plays saxophone and I play percussion in our church band and we have been in several plays. I also still love to sing and enjoy participating in worship teams and choir when I have the time. We have a passion for missions and just last summer Curtis went on his fifth trip to Africa.
I am Planned Giving Coordinator with Family Life Communications and am very blessed to work in a wonderful Christian organization. FLC is the parent company of two different ministries. Family Life Radio which has 21 Christian radio stations throughout the country and Parent Talk also known as Intentional Living. Dr. Randy Carlson hosts the Intentional Living program which is syndicated on over 165 stations across the U.S. I work with an amazing group of people.
It's so exciting that we now have the internet that offers us the opportunity to re-connect with long lost friends. I would love to hear from you!
