Debi's Story

Hi fellow Classmates! After high school I went to Purdue and received my degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I married Wayne in 1980 and proceeded to move to MO, GA, back to MO, SC, TN, and then back to SC. We have three terrific boys that are 25, 18, and 15. Adam, 25, lives in Atlanta and works for a start up computer firm, Taylor, 18, is a senior and quite the drummer. Hunter, 15, is a sophomore and plays golf for the high school team. I have taught for years (on and off) always in special education or with at-risk students. I worked for six years ...Expand for more
with alcohol and drug addicted teens and began an at-risk program for middle school students in TN. Currently, I do educational testing (part-time) for a local school district. Wayne is the VP at a chemical plant located here in Spartanburg that produces all kinds of specialty chemicals for paint, caulk, materials, etc. He travels the world. My parents moved to SC about 14 years ago. Dad is closing in on 80 and Mom, 78, is still as busy as she always was. Great to have them close. My sister, Lorie, is in southern IN and my brother, Rod, is in MN. Get in touch!! Debi
