Deborah 's Story
We sold our lake home in 2015 & moved to the west side of Bella Vista onto flat land. We love it here! We're surrounded by woods & wildlife but are only 6 miles from Bentonville city life.
We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary last fall. Can't believe it's been that long. Retirement is great!
Two of our 4 children have moved to this area & another would like to be here.
I really don't think I've changed much. I'm maybe not as shy as I used to be. Thru the years I've learned to value life and the friends who share it with you.
In July of '08 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was truly bl...Expand for more
essed and found it early enough. Since I underwent a bilateral mastectomy, I didn't have to have chemo, radiation or pills. It's not something I would have chosen for my life, but I wouldn't have missed this life changing experience for anything.
Jay was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma 2 years ago but is now in remission. It will come back & can’t be cured but can go back on meds & chemo to go back into remission.
I've always valued family and friendships but they're even more precious to me now.
