Deborah's Story
Basically, I've been in Charlottesville (Albemarle County) all my life. I was at McIntire Elementary School in 1962/63. Went to Robert E. Lee in 1963/64 (how many of you remember that school and went there?)
Then I went to Venable for 4th and 5th grades, good old Jefferson in the 6th grade (along with most of you) and then Walker for three years and graduated Lane in 1974. I graduated from PVCC in 1976. Been at UVA for 32 years now (I WANNA RETIRE). I have been married to Don Bush (Albemarle class '73 for 30 years and have two beautiful children, twins, who are 23 years old. t to be married and I love my daughter-in-law and soon to be son-in-law. I have 10 cats, 4 kittens who live outdoors and my special baby, Earl, my indoor cat. I love traveling with my best friend Sue, and especially going to the beach. Am a movie buff, bluegrass fanatic, collect postcards and love to crochet and knit. I am into scrapbooking and like to read. That's me in a nutshell. UPDATE: I am now living at Lake Monticello (moved in 2011), I am retired from UVA after 36 years of service, I have two beautiful grandchildren, Andrew 4, and Amelia 15 months. I now only have one cat, my Earl. Still married.
