Deborah's Story
College
After receiving a BA in PsychologySociology at Memorial. I worked for Memorial University Medical School during which I completed a Masters Degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, Scotland. In 1994 I moved to Halifax and began a PhD in Education at Dalhousie University which I completed in 2001. I now work as a university professor at the Department of Family Medicine, Dalhousie University.

rofessions as a Practical Nurse at St. Clares Hospital. I entered academia in 1978 and finished a PHD in 2001. During that time I have worked as research assistant, TA and lecturer at Memorial University, and Dalhousie and St Mary's University in Halifax, NS. Currently, I work as a University Professor with the Department of Family Medicine, Dalhousie University. My research interests are unpaid caregiving, chronic care, end-of-life-care, and medical education.
