Deborah's Story

Oct 2021 - Update - Still living in AZ and doubt we will leave. I am FINALLY a Gramma - one darling little girl and soon a little boy. Was late in getting to be a Gramma - but so very happy it happened. She is my pride and joy and I am sure the soon to be grandson - will also be right up there. Still working...think of retiring every day - but still like my job and company. Life I married a guy from Ohio in 1973 and lived in VA for a few years. We had one son (Daniel). The marriage was short - 3.5 years and I stayed single for a couple of years. Met a great guy (Jim) and have been married for almost 34 years (wow - time flies)! He was in the Air Force and we traveled all over - California, England, Germany, Arkansas. After he retired we still had the moving bug and lived in California (for the 2nd or 3rd time!), North Carolina, Nevada, Virginia, West Virginia. We recently mo...Expand for more
ved to NW Arizona from NE panhandle of West Virginia. Not sure if we are here to stay - but will be here until I retire or get tired of working! Daniel (son) lives outside Seattle, WA and Jim's daughter and grandchildren (3) live in Las Vegas, NV. The rest of my family (Mom, younger brother (David), and older sister (Dianna) still live in Beaver, West Virginia. My oldest brother (Don) passed away Sept 2001. They (family) came out to AZ for a visit in 2008. Spent 3 weeks with us and we had an absolute ball touring AZ and NV. Even got them into CA for a short visit! Enjoying traveling and seeing the sights of the west! There are many and they are magnificient. I'm making a list, checking it twice and marking off those places we have visited! Great fun! Enjoy living in the west and have no plans to return east to live - will visit once in a while - but am a west coast girl at heart.
