Deborah's Story
After graduation in 67 I moved to Meadville, Pa with my folks. I worked for United Airlines, but there was something happening on the west coast that really appealed to me. So I joined a hippy commune and was a flower child for 3 years. I live in the Haight Asbury and later in Ben Lomond near Santa Cruz. I have always thought that my hippie days and my faith in God really blended together to make me be the adult that i am. After hippie hood i went to school, and entered into the medical field. I have worked both in hospitals and in private practice. I love medicine and spent my entire work history ...Expand for more
(30 years) in health care. I met the love of my life in 1973, and this year we will be married 37 years. Amazing. I have 2 children, and have raised my grandchild who is almost 18. I also have two little dogs that i adore. Due to physical problems i am no longer able to work, but at 60 i feel blessed to just be home doing what i want to do, not have to do each day. I love life, i am thankful that my life has been as full of joy as it has been. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. It has become almost like a journey to mecca, i am on the road, and moving forward, constantly growing.
