Deborah's Story
School
I had very few friends in school. Mostly because I tended to live in my own world and take life too seriously.
After losing my job in 2001 due to layoffs, I was forced to look at life from another angle. The person I am now is so far removed from who I was then that I find myself having difficulty reconciling the two.
I love life, and live it to its fullest, now. I am quick to laugh and quick to help. It is rare, now days, for people to see me as someone who is unapproachable and intimidating.

Christian that I liked and wanted to be around. However, not many wanted to be around me. I was always good for a laugh, as I made myself emminently available as the butt end of jokes. While this still bothers me, today, I am much more secure in myself and find myself able to laugh good-naturedly at the razzing.
To my graduating class, if you read this - and to Halley who willed me her sense of humor in the senior will.....thanks. I've found my humor and I've found myself.
Life is good. I hope the same may be said for you.
