keyed my car. I had just saved the money to finally paint my '65 Dodge Dart, the bumpers were not even on yet! I really wanted to play softball in the spring but that was not enough to keep me there. I started at Ventura College then. I got accepted at Cal Poly, San Luis but could not attend because my family couldn't afford it - so I went to VC! I got my AA and then transfered to Chico State - the most beautiful campus. THe housing was cheap so I could afford it. I wanted to get away. I was still seeing Jess then - but he was going to college at OU in Norman, Oklahoma. Our plan was to both finish school, then get married. Well, after a long 4 year long-distance relationship - we decided to get married after he graduated and I would finish my last year wherever he got a job. I got my Bachelor's degree at Cal State Bakersfield in Business Admin - Accounting. I worked for a CPA firm there until Jess was transfered to Carpenteria. That was just the beginning of my life treck across the world!
