Deborah's Story
My family moved from Long Beach, CA in 1968 where I would have attended Millikan High School. We moved to San Luis Obispo which in 1968 had about 23,000 people and almost half was the state college Cal Poly. Small town USA and very difficult to enter in my 10th grade year at San Luis Obispo Senior High School.
I made a few friends over the next three years until graduation. After High School I worked full time in my Dad's tire business Kimball Tire Company and learned a lot. till live in SLO County. I met my husband Randy in 1995, we married in 1997 and live near Las Vegas. I hope to return to the Coast before too much longer as I miss all the things one takes for grantited when they live in such a beautiful place as the Central Coast is.
I keep busy, don't really work except when Randy needs me to help in the Sports Photography business he has and we visit the slo life as much as we can.
I have 6 grandkids who keep me busy.
I recently reconnected with Long Beach people I grew up with from K-9th grade, it was great and I hope to find more old friends not only in Long Beach but San Luis Obispo County to share our stories and remember the fun we had.
