Deborah's Story
Life
I have been married for 21 years and we live in the Parkville area. We love the Northland community, schools, etc. We enjoy hanging out with friends, dining out, movies, and travel.
We have 3 children. Our oldest son is 25 (my stepson). Our daughter is 19 years old. She is the daughter of my dreams She is a Sigma Kappa at Northwest Missouri State. She is such a joy, so much so in fact, that 18 months after she was born, I had another child. He is 18 years old and will be playing football, D-Line, for Missouri Western State University this fall.
The most amazing thing about my life today is how differently I view the world now. I never knew that I would take so much to being a mom and just so thoroughly enjoy going to ball games, watching the school plays, reading bedtime stories, and (my favorite thing) cuddling together before bedtime. College
I graduated from Rockhurst College, summa cum laude, with a BA in Business Communications--Media emphasis, and a BA in French. The highlight of my college career was the semester I spent in Aix-en-Provence France.
I worked at the AMC Theatres home office throughout college, thus, chose to live at home. Being a "commuter", I did not have much opportunity to be actively involved on campus, although I did appear in one of the Rockhurst recruiting videos.
Workplace
I worked in Corporate America for 20 years, and then I came to my senses and became an entrepreneur. I currently have my own fitness business which allows me to help people live healthy and fulfilling lives through the internet. Yes, I am like a virtual personal trainer.
