Deborah's Story
Life
Those of you who knew me as "Powell" would never believe the career path that I chose. (smile) Well, where do I begin? I obtained a BS from Erskine College and an MED from the university of Georgia, and taught middle and high school grades(mostly Biology and General Science believe it or not) for 13 years. All along, I was working and performing in the Entertainment Industry. In 1990 I started my own business, De'Vonne Entertainment, In the Metro-Atlanta area, and since then have been working and developing talent in the areas of Music, Fashion, Dance, Comedy, and Drama. Of late, our main focus at De'Vonne deals with Film and Television Production. We, at De'Vonne, have the exclusive rights to that story, from the Gaye family, and we are currently working to produce a feature film on the story. Other projects; the movies Crazy For Love and In Reynolds Town,the soap opera Sweet Auburn, the talk show Night Nibbles, the television show WilSing Presents, and the list goes on..., are all a part of our production company. I am very happily married to Frank Anderson, and we have three wonderful young adults (Lane-22, Marci-19, and Denard-18). My newest books are: 1."Getting Exactly What You Want In This Lifetime - Guidance For Creating Your Destiny" and 2."Moving Out Of The Master's House; A Mental "You" Haul".
