Deborah's Story
Life
I suppose I need to update this. I moved to Oregon nearly 3 years ago. It's really pretty this way. I live in another small rural town. I came up here to join my now husband Karl. I got a new job working as a Micro Biologist in a Quality Control capacity. It's been challenging and fun at the same time. As a result in my moving, I was unable to attend any of our reunions. I enjoyed looking at the pictures and remembering old times. It's always fun to look back. Thank you for the many emails. I promise to write back. I've just gotten really behind.
I'd been Living the past 12 years in Humboldt County. I lived in a rural town that had only 2 stop lights when I first moved there. It's grown a bit since then. The area is still beautiful, and full of redwoods. :) I've been raising 3 of my children as a single parent. With sports, FFA, and school activites, I find myself always busy. I've been working 22 years in the Dairy Industry. A job for Humboldt Creamery is what brought me to this beautiful...Expand for more
area.
I posted pictures of my family past and present to reacquaint myself with old friends. I grew up my early years in Alameda. We lived in a large Victorian home with a huge back yard. Our home always seemed like a place where all our friends hung out. It was a wonderful time and full of some of my best memories. We moved in February 1973. My family had bought a townhouse in San Lorenzo. A tradgedy for a kid who had gone to the same school since Kindergarten. I went to school briefly at Barrett Jr. High. I manage to get in a fight in about a week. I guess we wont say why will we Cheri lol But with my 3 new friends I managed thru. For my 14 birthday, my new friends from San Lorenzo invited some of my closest friends from Alameda. They threw me a great surprise party and sleep over. We managed to hang out at the High School that evening and hung out with the upper classmen. We snuck into the swimming pool and went swimming. Some how that seem to become our acceptance into the beginning of High School life. :)
