Deborah's Story
Life
After high school I graduated from PCC and Salem with a B.S. in Radiologic Technology. Worked at St Joe for 5 yrs and then moved to Florida. Lived in Fl for 6 years and then started as a traveling rad tech which took me to MI and GA. I took a position in Augusta, GA once the contract ended. When a friend told me about an x-ray position in Germany I jumped at the chance and worked in Frankfurt for a year. Germany was a wonderful experience and I was able to travel quite a bit. When the hospital closed I found a position in Hinesville, GA.

decided to make a career move to information management teaching the hospital computer program as well as troubleshooting and upgrading the system. After 9 years in Hinesville I moved to Falls Church, VA and have worked as a Government contractor ever since.
I left VA and moved to Columbus, GA for a year, got married and moved once again this time to SC. I'm fortunate in that I get to work from home which is great. My most recent accomplishment is that I'm a breast cancer survivor. It was very rough going through the treatment but through the support of my husband, family, friends and God I made it.
