Debbie's Story
Life
Married David Willis in March '80 and lived in Homewood until '83 when we moved to Indian Springs. Sadly, we divorced 20 years later, no children. Learned over the past summer of '07 that he died of esophageal cancer. Met my knight in shining armor and future husband, Joe Degnan, who whisked me to places all over the world and relocated me to West Chester, PA. We married September 2, '05 and are happily settled in our new home and new life together.

Workplace
My most recent position was with Best Doctors headquartered in Boston working from home. I began my career in music at age 15 teaching beginning piano students. During high school, I also worked as a hostess at large hotel restaurant. After college, I began my medical career as a radiologic technologist and eventually specialized in mammography, which led me into medical sales and marketing for several years thereafter. My last jobs in Alabama were at at HealthSouth and United Healthcare of AL in network development and contracting. In Dec. 2000, I moved to West Chester, PA and began a new life which has allowed me to travel to exciting places I never dreamed I'd see: NYC, Boston, San Diego, Coronado, San Francisco and the Monterrey Peninsuala, Chicago, Philadelphia, London, Paris and most recently New Zealand.
