Deborah's Story
Life
After high school, I lived in Ft. Worth(while attending TCU); Lubbock (while attending Texas Tech and even a few years after that); Dallas(where I worked for IRS for 8 1/2 years) and even Ft. Worth for a career move during that time. I met my current husband in 1980. We married in 1981 and in 1983 he decided to sell his pediatric dental practice and return to school to obtain a specialty in orthodonti...Expand for more
cs at the University of Louisville. It was in Louisville that our only son, James,was born in 1984. He's a junior at George Washington University in Washington, DC, majoring in International Affairs and Asian studies. (We're sad to see him move so far from us!) In 1985, we returned to Texas and decided to settle in Austin. We've been here 19 years, but I still miss Ft. Worth! That will always be home to me!
