Debra's Story
Life
After graduating in 1990 from Illinois State University, I worked a few jobs, lived in what seems like a lot of different places and finally after lots of dead ends, God placed the love of my life in front of me. Chad Smits and I were married on July 31, 1999 at Christ Church of OakBrook. I used to work as the business and marketing manager at CADDI,Inc. in Naperville, but the company went bankrupt. I am now a stay-at-home mom to Holland Marie & Griffin Joel and run our family photography business. I also am still involved with volleyball through BHS's summer volleyball camp and so...Expand for more
me local volunteering to help the teams. Chad and I live on a 5-acre farmette in Monroe Center, IL (just South of Rockford). We own a photography business - Smits Photography - portraits, weddings, seniors, sports, equine, etc. My folks still live in the same house in Batavia. I have 4 nephews and 1 niece - two boys (Austin and Jared) by older sister Pam and husband Craig Walsh and two boys (Nolan and Ryan) and niece (Sydney) by brother Darren and wife Michele.
