Debra's Story

Life Mark and I met in at Urbandale (IA) high school in Sally Bartlett's English class when I moved there at the end of 10th grade. Our first date was our senior prom in May 1975. In July, 2008, we will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Our son, Dan, lives in Chicago. Right now he does freelance photography and works at Costco to pay the bills. Amelia is in her third year as a vocal performance major at Illinois Wesleyan University. I direct compliance efforts for a call center outsourcing company that provides customer contact solutions for Fortune 500 telecommunications and insurance firms. I am an active volunteer at our church, and I support our local NPR station with volunteer efforts as well.
