Debra's Story

Life My Spouse I met my husband Peter through a mutual friend named Phil at Rutgers University (NJ) 2 years before we graduated. We were friends first; we did not start dating until after graduation. My Family I am not sure who may have heard this, but my sister Kelly passed away on Sept 12, 2016 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. I am very grateful that I was able to relocate to NC 14 years ago and get more time with her before this happened. It is never enough time, but this was the best I could hope for. My Pets We presently have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Baby is a border collie mix and Ranger is a Flat Coated Retri...Expand for more
ever - Chocolate Lab mix. Tigger is a gold tabby Manx. Skipper is a gray domestic shorthair who was born on my friend's boat, so what else could I name him but Skipper! My Kids I have 1 daughter named Carolyn. Like all parents, I am very proud of her and love her very much. I am very lucky to have her as I had difficulty having children. Carolyn was born during the March 13, 1993 blizzard in Ridgewood's own Valley Hospital! UPDATE: Carolyn is going to Cornell University for her graduate degree in the fall! My Job I am a full-time Programmer/Report Writer (BI Developer) for Harnett Health and I still love my work!
