Debra's Story
I have 2 'children', boys (men). My youngest, Jason 32, has CP and is a total care person. But he is one of the bright spots in my life. I have 6 grandchildren, one via my older son and 5 via my step-children. But I am grandma to 4 godchildren under 18.
I work as a resource specialist for families who have disabled family members, do in-home care, childcare, and part-time/volunteer in the special nee...Expand for more
ds classrooms/day programs.
My main hobby right now is volunteer work. The Red Cross and Dog Parks are my year around obligations. Project Angels Bearing Gifts is my main focus; it remembers people with developmental disabilities at Birthdays and Christmas, who no longer have family - November and December is a major focus time.
I am enjoying getting back in touch with classmates, friends, and family.
