Debra's Story
Life
After high school I went to the University of Wisconsin at Madison. I spent my junior year in England and graduated in '92 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. I moved to Israel worked in PR at the Univeristy of Haifa for a year and a half. I returned to the States at the end of '93 and got a job in Advertising in NYC. small agency working on dot com clients. My sister moved to NYC in 1997 when she graduated from college. She moved in with me and we have become really close.
September 11th was a turning point for me, as it was for everyone else. I had been looking to leave New York because I had felt like I did what I went there to do. I also wanted to try living a different lifestyle with access to the outdoors and snowboarding, in particular. I accepted a job in Seattle and here I live.
I'm not married and have no kids.
