Debra's Story
Life
I have been with Mike Howard for 36 years now and we have 2 sons, Anson & Preston. We have lived in AZ for the past 23 years. I am a hairstylist & my husband is a jazz guitarist. So, my best interests are going to Mike's gigs & enjoying it with friends. My hobbies are making soy candles, collage & painting. I helped to create the Pioneer High Alumni Assoc. (PHSAA) & help on the '71 Reunion Committee.
In November '07, my husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) and has PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease). So for the past 3 1/2 years we have spent much of the time in hospitals/rehab & gratefully at Mayo Clinic for cancer treatment. In Feb. '09 Mike received a stem cell tr...Expand for more
ansplant. The cancer had been in total remission until June of this year when we tested & found the cancer active again. Mike has returned to chemotherapy & now radiation for particular areas to be treated. We maintain faith & belief in miracles & healing. Pls. keep us in prayer and we have had many miracles & expect many more! I intend for the same to all of you during these times of change in the world.
