Debra's Story
Life
Left school in '64' to get married and start a family. Later moved to Florida got my diploma and managed convenience stores. Raised 3 sons, got remarried and raised 3 of my grandchildren for 3 yrs.
After 29 yrs in Florida my husband Joe and I moved to the Las Vegas area. Between us we have 5 sons, Unfortunately since the original writing of this story Joe's youngest son passed away with a brain aneurysm in March 2009. He had no children. 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Our baby is an American long-hair cat, smokey gray in color named Zander. We have also gotten a new kitten she is a bi-color calico point siamese & tabby mix but all you see is the siamese. What a little viper she is. LOL Her name is Zora.
We love the energy that Las Vegas brings to our lives and yet we manage to have a very calm and satisfying life. I have learned many lessons from my sons the biggest one was becoming an adult. Changing my life around from what I was in my teens and early 20's was t...Expand for more
he biggest improvement of all. Can any of us ever live down some of the mistakes we made as confused psychotic kids? I surely hope so.
There is so much in life to be grateful for. No matter how bad you think you may have it, Someone else is worse off. I live my life in a wheel chair w/a spinal condition along with many other medical problems.
High School was not always the most pleasant for me but, in 1984 I went back and got my GED and took some college courses. I was unable to finish however, pleased with myself that I made the attempt. My mind and heart always seem to go back to gchs and all the great and not so great kids I knew and miss. the music and the teachers, yes even Mrs. Revak, and the times they always seemed to be better to me then and now.
Glad to hear from any and all. Please contact me.

I always wanted to be a police officer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
