Debra's Story
Hello Northeastern! I hope some of you from the class of 1973 remember me. I was the one who didn't quit fit in anywhere it seemed. English and Drama classes were my favorites; having raisin fights in the pit; watching the football players take their naps in the pit before a game... well, that's about it hahaha! At the end of my junior year, dear Mr. Davenport insisted I had to take a full schedule during my senior year even though I only needed 3 credits to graduate. I signed up for 6 english classes since it was the only subject I liked. Davenport, thinking me a smart ass like my older brother had been, decided to MAKE a class schedule for me. NOT!! rements and skipped the senior year thing altogether. They held my diploma until the class of '73 received theirs, and I wasn't allowed to walk with the class. Oh well. I think I survived rather well.
Today I'm living in Springfield, Louisiana, about 45 miles NW of New Orleans. I have a 27-year-old son and a step-daughter the same age who has 3 children, to whom I am know as "Grandmama." My wonderful husband is a retired police captain. When we married 7 years ago, I took an early retirement from Allstate Insurance in Jacksonville, FL. We travel as much as we can, ride motorcycles, scuba dive, and, well, just enjoy life, our families, and each other.
So, what have you been up to?? My e-mail address is EUDAE at AOL dot com, and I'd love to hear from anyone who knew me back then.
