Workplace
After CC on the hill and the Univ. of Kansas I returned home to become a Natrona County Deputy Sheriff, loved it. Wanted to move away from home so ran down to Ft. Collins again, as a Deputy, hated it. Moved to Arizona became a Correctional Officer with the state prison system where I stayed. I decided to retire. That decision came right after we had the longest prison hostage situation in America's history. It was a situation that should not have been able to happen and could have been prevented. I didn't miss it at first. Now however, I am thinking about going back, to be a part of a corrective force to get the system back on track. I found as a retiree I have too much time on my hands and I am almost tired of giving Vegas my retirement check!
