Debra's Story

Life After graduating from nursing school I married Jim Columbare in 1978. I have 2 sons, Mike now age 22 and Dan age 19. I worked at Deaconess Hospital in Boston until 1982 and then Malden Hospital until 1998. In 1995 Jim lost his brave battle to lymphoma, and I lost my best friend and husband of 18 years. ler several years later and married him in 1998. I now have another son Matt age 21. After recieving my bachelors degree from Springfield College I began work as a staff coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care. I am now an office manager for them. My sons are all in college and Larry and I try to travel and keep sane.
