Debra's Story
I have lived in Alaska my entire life except for a couple of years and have been fortunate to be able to participate in the Commercial Fishing Industry. I started crewing for my Dad when I was 10 and spent 21 years Trolling for Salmon. I have also fished for halibut and black cod over the years and participated in a set net site, set net fishing for salmon for 10 years. I like keeping busy and set goals that when reached, make me a better person. I love my family and am grateful for the many good friends I have had the opportunity to meet and have in my life. I have learned to be appreciative of the time I do have with family and friends, always say I love you and mean it, be forgiving, don't sweat the little things, and make every effort possible to keep in touch with those I love and care about.
