Debra's Story
Hello and Happy New Year 2009!
Don't really know how to start but here goes.
I am married and have two wonderful sons from a previous marriage. One grandson and a few adopted ones. I love them kids. My oldest son married a sweet girl who has 2 girls and a boy who has stolen my heart. The youngest girl, who is 2 sang me "Happy Birthday" and that is all it took.
My other son, Ben, is a traveling welder, and doesn't seem in a hurry to get married or start a family but guess that is ok. He's a goof-ball but gotta love him.
I am currently laid off from Ruskin's Mfg. and hoping to go back but ...Expand for more
time will tell if I get called back. Before that I worked at Elm Acres, a girls youth home for girls that had gotten into trouble with the law. I loved that job and loved the girls but new management came in and Well, you know that old story.
My Husband, Leon, and I drove a truck over the road for 6&1/2 years. Got to see all of the continental US & most of the lower part of Canada.
My first husband was in the Army and got to live in Belguim and Germany and travel to other parts of Europe. Also lived in Alabama and LA.
Very happy with my life and 2009 is looking up as I hope it is with you.
