Debra's Story
Life
Since I got remarried in May 1999, I have had 3 major surgeries and on the last one, I had to be brought back a couple of times. So since you never know what will happen to you or a loved one, my husband, son, and daughter have been taking some of our dream vacations. We have traveled to the Dakota's, Wisconson, Colorado, Utah, Las Vegas, Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Australia, and New Zeland. We will be traveling to Yellowstone in May 2008 to go fly fishing for two weeks. My husband and I love to fish, fresh water or salt water. A couple of the best fishing trips was when we went to the Outter Banks of NC with my youngest brother Jimmy, his wife Kim, my parents and we caught nearly 400 lbs. of yellow fin tuna. ught mahi mahi, bill fish and tuna. We love to learn and see our American history. We always travel backroads so we can see and do things that are off the beaten path. We will be traveling to Yellowstone in May 2008 to do some fly fishng and white water rafting. We love having fun and we always try to incorprate things that everyone who is traveling with us likes. We love to spend time with our families. It gets harder since both my son and daughter are in college now. My husband is origanilly from Iowa and we get to visit his sister every few years. There is no telling where we will travel next after Yellowstone. We want to go back to a different part of Alaska and we are thinking of taking some curises or traveling to Europe. No matter where we go we will always have fun and enjoy spending time with each other.
