Debra's Story
Life
Life has been good. I left Whittier in 1978 moving to the Portland, Oregon area where I raised 3 children. In 1990 I started a new adventure in my life as a single mom. I moved to Vancouver, WA where I met my current husband. We have lived in Washington state where we started out and then moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania for 6 years. Moved back to Whittier in 2004 to take care of my Dad who was dying of cancer. We moved in with my Dad and our grandson was born several months later. We had 4 generations living under 1 roof. It really lifted my Dad's spirit. Dad died in October of that year and in the Spring we closed up his estate and moved back to Washington state this time settling in Langley on Whidbey Island where we have 5 acres and hope to build our retirement home sometime in the near future.

ffice Manager, Beta Program Project Manager, Promotional Assistant/Make-up artist, Assistant Cook, Seamstress and Decorator, Caregiver and for the last 3 years a full time Grandmother.
Life has given me many roads to travel down which include some world travel. I have been to France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Japan, Thailand and the Caribbean several times but never to Hawaii! Maybe one of these years I can add Hawaii to the list.
I love to travel, read, knit, sew but most of all I love to cook and entertain. There is nothing better than enjoying wonderful food, great wine with friends and family.
God is good and my life has been blessed; especially blessed to have gone to school with so many great people. School Days at Pioneer are filled with warm memories. How privileged we were to have such a great school!
