Debra's Story

Life Here it is 2007 and our class celebrated our 25th Reunion last year, which I had the pleasure of being a part of the planning committee. I hope everyone that was able to attend had an enjoyable time. Hope to see everyone in 5 more years. In November, 2006, God truly blessed me! Finally, a man like no other made me the happiest woman in the world when we became Husband and Wife. The ironic part of the story is that Bryon and I were actually born together. Our Mother's were roommates in the maternity hospital when we both were born. It must be true - God really does have a plan for each one of us. Bryon and must have been meant for each other from the very beginning. We both had other relationships but it wasn't until we found our way back to each other that we found true love and happiness. I think the song "God Bless the Broken Road" was actually written about us. Between the two of us we may not be wealthy or climbing a social ladder or "trying to keep up with The Jones's" - we would never know the difference. I have never known a love like this before in my life. Bryon is truly a wonderful husband and I am so thankful God brought him into my life! Bryon and I pray that God has a family planned for us as we would love to adopt a little girl in the near future. We have so much love between us - we just would love to share it with a child. That would be my dream come true. Currently, I am not working as I have had alot of health issues over the past few years. I am hoping that I will be able to return to work in some kind of capacity before too long even if it is part time, the less stre...Expand for more
ssful the better. Bryon prefers I be at home though. My parents are still living in the same house I grew up in - in Chesterfield. It is nice to know your home is still there. They will be celebrating their 50th anniversary this June. I am so proud of them - not alot of people can say that anymore. Our family still has our farm in Pacific and my parents have built a country home on the property. Bryon & I plan to build our home on the property as well in a few years. I feel very fortunate, as my father has taken our family on many family trips to different countries, and around the USA. At present we don't have any new travel plans, except to visit my older brother Chris and his wife in Georgia. Chris has a wonderful family now, Anna, Luke and his charming wife Sandi. They are in the process of moving from Warner Robbins, GA to Macon, GA. It will be a great step for them. Chris's daughter is the apple of my eye. She has me wrapped around her finger.... My younger brother is doing great and is currently taking great steps to research all our family history on ancestry.com. He has been very successful and has gone as far back as the 1400. He spends hours working on this. But it is absolutely amazing! I just wish he could be as fortunate as me and find the love of his life. Maybe it just takes time. Funny - you never know where your life is going to lead you - but rest assurred God had your life planned before you were even born, and if you listen to God the path that he has layed out for you just might lead you to the greatest love and happiness you have ever experienced. Share the love!
