Dee Ann's Story

Life My Bio....hummm Well after high school I went to college.... I had already had a baby as most of you know (scandolous ha ha) so my family was already started. I got married and divorced and had another baby in that marriage (the only good thing that came from it). I moved to Alaska where I continued to further my career in Payroll/HR Management. I founded the Alaska Chapter of the American Payroll Association which currently has over 200 memebrs. I am a cheer coach for Pop Warner and love spending time with my kids. I miss Sutter which I never thought I would... Well as an update to this - I have moved from Alaska to McMinnville Oregon to work for Evergeen International Aviation- better known for the home of the Spruce Goose... I am glad to be back in the lower 48 again and out of the snow!!! Okay well after 11 months in Oregon I am back in Alaska.... ss Administration. I continued on at the University of Phoenix online program to complete my AA in Business Admin. I currently hold two certifications from the American Payroll Association as well as several certification in Payroll and HR Management. I am now working to complete my BBS in Accounting which has been challenging as my mind does not work the same ha ha College Well I attended Yuba Community College from 1988-1991 where I earned a Certificate of Training in Business Administration. I went on to work then went back to University of Arizona Phoenix to complete my degree in Business Administration with a minor in accounting. I am now completing my BBS in Accounting. Not too exciting just an education:) Workplace I am the Payroll Manager for an Alaska Native company in Anchorage Alaska. My entire career has been in Human Resources and Payroll in one facit or another. Military Never been in the military but certainly am very thankful for all those who have been.
