Dee's Story
I live in Tampa, Fl with my husband of 49years. We have been dorm parents for a small Christian college for 26yrs. We are in charge of all the boys and live in a small apartment furnished by the college right in the dorm with these guys. It has been a real experience. I taught Pre-K for 5 years and also worked as a Media secretary in the public school system for 10 yrs. We have 2 children Liberty and Chad. Libby has 3 grand children and Chad has 5. lives on a 5 acre farm near us so we are able to see these grandkids more often. My husband and son-in-law serve as deacons at the. church we all attend. We enjoy traveling alot and have gone to many places around the world such as Peru, Great Britian, France, Spain, and Italy., Israel, Jordan, and even Cambodia. In 2004 I was diganosed with breast cancer and had to have a massecotomy, chemo and lost all my hair. The boys in the dorm also shaved their heads too so I would not feel alone. Life is indeed good.
