Life
Time to update! Oh, wait...life if going about the same. I'm still teaching 5th grade, and I really love it. I don't think I'll ever go back to 1st grade (though it was great while it lasted).
This summer I've been busy with my vegetable garden--corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, crenshaw melon, pumpkin, green, red, and yellow peppers, jalapenos, habanero peppers, cukes, pickling cukes, onion chives, parsley, (the cilantro burned up...Expand for more
), red swiss chard, strawberries, watermelon, and mint. So far the only harvest I'm getting are the yellow cherry tomatoes, zuccs, yellow squash, green and jalapeno peppers, and mint. Corn is almost there! The people from the community garden behind my house have given me tomatoes and red onions. I give them lemons! It keeps me busy. With the triple digit heat lately, I have to water twice a day--with mulch! Whew!
