Cead mile failte! A hundred thousand welcomes! The above "then" photo came to me from Kelly McLeish, via Todd Gabler. It's the last day of 8th grade at Eastmont. I'm thinking hair was a big priority for us then, as evidenced by the huge comb in Kara Anderson's back pocket! I think I'm sporting one as well. My life biography? In 4000 characters or less...well, let's see, I married fellow Class of '83er Jon Lambert in 1989. I worked my way through college (took me 9 years) and finally graduated from the University of Utah in 1993 with a Bachelors in Political Science, and a Certificate in International Relations. I'm sorry to say I've not put the "international" aspect of my education to use yet, but there's still time (despite the fact that I'm now 43!) I have 3 children, ages 13 to 8. Right now I'm working part time at an amazing non-profit, Intermountain Donor Services. ng and Nevada. Basically we coordinate organ and tissue donations. I'm the Volunteer and Events Coordinator and handle some of the PR. I'm overwhelmed right now planning our big 5K Dash for Donation to be held on August 16, 2008. My two girls and I are also really into Irish step-dancing and have been dancing with the Crawford School of Irish dance for five years. Erin Go Bragh! I know we were all hoping for a 25 year reunion this year and I'm sad to say I don't know that anyone has planned one. Rob Miller agreed to plan the 25 year, but I know he's swamped as Vice Chair of the Utah State Democratic Party and managing the campaign for Jean Welch Hill for Attorney General. We had talked about having a Hawk Hoedown at Wheeler Farm in October. If anyone has the time and inclination to plan something, go for it! Let me know because we have a little money left over from last time. Anyway, life is good and I feel lucky to have married such a great person and to have 3 cool kids. Take care! D2
