Deeidre's Story

I have been working in the Training and Development area in the Financial world for the past 35 years. I specialize in Management Development Training, however I am also responsible for training loan officers for SunTrust mortgage Corporation. I do systems training, along with other soft skill based training. I have been in Virginia for about 8 years and I don't think I will go any further South. I am still a Jersey girl at heart and I need to be close enough to make the drive home and to NYC when I need to. :) I attended our 30th class reunion in 2005 and it was great to see so many of my Clifford Scott classmates. I think everyone should try to attend a least one reunion, you would be surprised at how much fun it can be. Well I look forward to seeing everyone at the next one, whenever that may be. still love football and I have come to love tennis. I play tennis alot with my husband. I pretty much love to do anything thats outdoors. I like camping (although I haven't done it in years)and I would love to try skiing at least once. I think the wildest thing I ever did in high school was.......maybe I will keep that to myself :) If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have at least 4 weeks vacation, my own office, and a training coordinator to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero is my Dad, he has always kept me moving in the right direction and encouraged me to have faith in myself. I always felt that he had my back no matter what choices I made, good or bad. Thank goodness I made a lot of good ones!!! He is 90 years old now and we just had a huge birthday party for him. I plan to post pictures in an album so those of you who remember him can check out Pops! He is still a hoot.
