Life My best memories growing up are of life in Orosi. We moved to Orosi just before 4th grade. That first year at East Orosi was wonderful. Playing in the big open fields around the school. The grass grew so high and we tore it down to build forts from which to battle the boys. Mrs Evans was my fourth grade teacher. Hector Chevera sat behind me. The desks were the old fashioned ones with the ink wells in the corner and the lift up seats. Mr Butts was a great teacher and my neighbor. He taught 5th I think and he had a scroll saw in his classroom and taught us how to use it. It was the first time I had ever used an electric tool. I have been living in Citrus Heights Ca since 1978 with my husband of 43 years, 44 in Sept. We have 1 daughter 39 and 1 grandson 16. I have worked in a department store at the perfume counter, been a file clerk, Avon and Amway rep, worked at Pizza Hut, was Manager of a sandwich shop, an instructor at Soledad Prison, transit driver, merchandiser, mystery shopper.
