Deidra's Story
When I left high school I joined the Army but never made it there because of a technicality and while I was waiting for that to be straightened out got pregnant with my son. I've married, divorced, worked and raised my three children sometime with someone most of the time by myself because hey...they were mine. I hated high school and didn't think I could make it in college. In grade school I was smart but lost focus in high school. it and wouldn't go to sleep cause I was bored LOL and I've gotten A's and B's in every class maintaining an GPA of 3.4 and I'm very proud of myself. If anyone remembers me from grade school on up they know I loved to sing and that is what I do on the side but get paid for it. I've participated in another Thorntonites local productions acting and singing on stage. I have traveled to other states to do this and done some local parties even performing on the opening night of the patio for the Southsides G Spot. I would really love to go to school for voice training to perfect the gift that God has given me and perhaps one day I will. That's my story.
