Delaine's Story

I have lived in Colorado since graduation, though not in Denver. After graduating from CU, I lived in the Winter Park area, then known as Hideaway Park. I married my senior year boyfriend. I worked at a condominium company and then the local bank until I began using my degree as an elementary teacher. ucator. We have two grown daughters, the youngest, Megan, is graduating for CU in May. My husband, Larry, and I are both retired and have been for several years. We enjoy traveling the US in our motorhome and taking a yearly trip to Europe. This May we are planning a trip to Greece. Life has been very good to me and I have enjoyed all the 50 years. I would love to see everyone at a 40th reunion. Any plans out there?

Thank you to my lovely daughters who knew I needed flowers on my birthday.
My husband of 39 years and the love of my life passed away peacefully this morning after a lengthy battle with COPD. He was a terrific father, grandfather, and friend. I will miss him every day.
