My life has always been an open book since I have been in the media industry ever since high school. After graduation I moved to Corpus Christi and continued to work in radio and eventually went to work at the number one pop music station and later the number one country station. I won the Feria De Las Flores Scholarship Pageant and was a finalist in the Miss Teen of Texas Pageant before going on to co-host the top rated morning radio show and hosting the bi-lingual community affairs program The Domingo Show on KIII-TV. I also wrote and produced the Channel 3 Country Countdown for the newscast along with numerous television commercials and endorsements. I spent over ten years at KOUL and had a blast doing the morning show with John, Sancho, Catfish & Bubba! While at KOUL I served as the station's go-to girl, doing everything from news reporting, sports reporting, promotions; marketing. Where ever the Big Country Radio was at, I was usually at too! I have had the opportunity to rub elbows not only with the greatest names in country music, but also mingled with community, state, national leaders (Ronald Reagan, John Glenn, Bush 41, Astronaut Robert Crippen, Medal of Honor Winner Roy Benavidez), sports icons (Tony Dorsett, Michael Irvin, Nolan Ryan, Bum Phillips), entertainers (Donny Osmond, Larry Hagman, Don Francisco, Charo, Selena, Paul Rodriguez, Sylvester Stallone…) and realized that we all have many things in common; it is just that some of us do some pretty cool things for a living! I have jumped out of airplanes, been a big winner and appeared twice on Wheel of Fortune, sung with Alabama and been a ring announcer for NBC Sportsworld, ABC Ringside and the Texas Sports Network while working with the likes of former Heavy Weight Champion Evander Holyfield.
