Della's Story
Life
After attending Canterbury Elementary School and Pacoima Junior High School, I went to Poly from 1966 to 1968. Was supposed to graduate in 1969 but took summer school classes and graduated early in August 1968. After working in the computer industry in SoCal, took a job in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Hated it there and after 6 months moved to SF Bay area working for Intel. Spent 25 years traveling around the US, and various other countries, managing trade shows and conventions. We moved back to SoCal and lived there from 1981-1992, then Portland, OR, lived there for a year and then moved to the NY/NJ area, and lived there from 1993-2005. I got into real estate in 1998. We moved to Brenham, Texas in 2005, and we love it here. We are about half way between Houston and Austin, out in the country in a small town of about 15,000 people! I've been with my husband Dan since 1980. He had 3 boys from a previous marriage, and we now have 4 grandchildren too, ...Expand for more
all living in Pittsburgh, except for Dan's oldest grand daughter who lives in Boston. We love bike riding, gardening, computer stuff, traveling, being out in the country on our friend's 75 acre ranch with horses, cows, dogs, cats, etc. Dan's retired after 40 years in the exhibit industry, and I'm still in real estate. Would love to connect with old friends from high school or previous employers, but have lost touch with so many. I was back in SoCal in the Fall of '07 and can't believe how much everything has changed! If you would like to get in touch, please email me. Social networking is a big thing now in the real estate business, so everyone is doing it! I've been able to connect with several old friends via Classmates.com. I Sure do miss those days of life in SoCal, going to the beach, riding in the car with all the windows down, listening to great music on the radio. No worries in those days! Too bad life has gotten so complicated today!
