I was born and raised in the D.C. area .I was an only child. I lived on Jackson ave. in Falls Church,Virginia. I lived with my grandmother ,Margaret Watkins (nanny),and my mother.Alicia Hartley(Alie). My parents were divorced when I was about7.My dad was remarried June of 53. My mother remarried in April of71. I have since been told recently I had any thing but a normal childhood,but it was normal to me. My grandmother was a panio teacher so I gave my first panio recital at 3. I was playing 3 grade of music before I started school. I was grown before I realized not every one read music. I went to Oak St.School (1st grade). Then we were shipped off to Graham Road School a couple of years Then we ended up at Pine Springs School(thruogh7 grade) Then J.G.Whittier(8 grade).
