Life I attended O.L.Slaton Jr. High from the 7th to the 9th grade but did attend Alderson Junior High and Bowie Junior High a few months . All of my friends at O.L.Slaton went to Lubbock High or Dunbar. I attended Cooper High. I have been married 24 years now to Gene Buckaloo. I believe both of us had so much to learn before we met. In all we have 6 children and 4 grandchildren and 2 on the way. I am very proud to say I am a Christian and love God very much. He is my very best friend. Kathy Davis has been my best friend since the 7th grade and I met her at Alderson Junior High. She came to O. L. Slaton after I went back to school there. She is also a Christian now. Haskell Hawks was a special person in my life at Alderson Junior High. He was such a nice person. I made the worse grades in homemaking, but now I sew my daughters prom dresses, have made wedding cakes,and accomplished many other homemaking skills. I did return to college and attended Texas Tech University....Expand for more
