Denise's Story
Life
Currently my job is relocating me to Albuquerque from a very small town in southeast NM. I'm hoping that more and more of my friends will find the LA to ABQ commute easier so that we'll continue to keep in touch.
I have never attended any of our reunions (not by choice but rather by circumstances beyond my control) but managed to electronically "hook up" with many of my high school friends...too cool! We gotta do Vegas or something peeps!
College
Again life changes and thus so does my educational endeavors. By request of my boss, I'm working on an Online Teaching...Expand for more
Certification. A no brainer but one that will simply add another certification behind my name...oh wow, like it matters?
Workplace
I've had odd jobs, mostly in bookkeeping, before I graduated from college. Since then I've worked as an accountant and then changed careers and got into education, where I currently am.
I am carrying two positions at the moment as I wait on the hiring of my replacement here at our Carlsbad branch so that I can make my permanent move to Albuquerque where I will concentrate more on my coordinating efforts for NMSU Distance Education programs.
