Denise's Story
My Story....
Hi everyone. After High School I married that was in 1970. I married Wayne VanDosen but after 15 years and two children later we divorced. We have a daughter Joyce who is now 35 and a son Brian who is now 32. Even though we are divorced we have remained friends. Look me up on Facebook.
After I was divorced I joined the Army. Joining the military at 34 years old sure was a challenge but hey I made it. I took Basic Training at Ft. Jackson in South Carolina. Signed up to be a multi-channel communications specialist. My duty station was Ft. Hood Texas. I was able to travel to the Netherlands and Germany. While in the Army I met and married Stephen Rutledge. We were able to live in Darmstadt Germany for one year before Stephen left the Army. th me since I had a job waiting for me in Michigan but he said "the farest north he would move was to North Carolina" and i replied with "Honey that just isn't north enough". Of course, we had other problems too. However, we did part as friends, and kept in touch for a while. He has since remarried and is very happy. I have lived in Georgia, Texas, Germany, Florida and South Carolina. I returned to Michigan in 1998.
As of 2011, I am still single. I haven't dated much since being divorced. The dating scene just isn't what it use to be. I am not into playing head games or hanging out in bars. I do have a few great friends. Some I met in the Army and some from the places where I have worked. I have attended college while living in Texas, Florida, South Carolina and Michigan.
I am currently working as a Produce Receiving Clerk in Imlay City, Michigan.
