Denise's Story
Life
I lived in Flint, Mi and attended St. John Vianney until 2nd grade when my parents divorced. Then, I moved to Burton, MI during 2nd grade and attended the Bentley schools until 9th grade. We moved to Davison, MI to be closer to my Grandmother and I attended Davison High School for the 2nd half of 9th grade. 10th grade I went to live with my Dad and attended Carmen High School for a year. I moved back to live with my Mom the beginning of 11th grade to Port Huron, MI and graduated from Port Huron High School in 1981.
After attending the community college in Port Huron for a semester, I moved to Texas to be with my boyfriend at the time. I worked as a manager at a retail store for a few years. In 1985, I went to work as a customer service representative at an insurance agency in Houston and went to school for my agents license.

989. I moved back to Texas early 1991, went back to work for an insurance agency in the commercial lines dept., divorced 1992, remarried in 1995 and went back to college for associates degree, but had to quit and go back to work early 1998. I went back to work again as an insurance agent, pomoted to agency manager, resigned because the owner turned out to be a slimeball.
Now, for over 5 years I have worked at an independent insurance agency in Baytown, TX and I am a commercial lines insurance agent. I also live in Baytown. My daughter graduated high school in May 2007, she works part time, attends our community college,Lee College, and she is pursuing a drafting/architect degree.
This past fall Autumn and I moved into an apartment and my divorce should be final in a few months. I thought it would be very hard to start over again at age 44, but I realized several months ago that my life is just beginning again. I look forward to accomplishing new goals and living a very happy life.
