Denise's Story
Life
I started life in Germany born into a military family. We moved to Canada when I was only 8 months old. After a series of moves we settled in Ontario . I attended Kindergarten at a military school at CFB Base Borden. My parents decided to separate and my mom moved her myself and my brother to Angus Ontario where I went to school at Our Lady of Grace Catholic school until grade 6. During this time my parents decided to give things another try and we moved into a house in Lisle ontario, so I again changed schools and went to Tosorontio Central school for grades 7 and 8. Now while all my friends headed off to high school in Alliston at Banting high, my mom decided I needed to go to the same high school as my older brother and so began my 2 years at St. Josephs high in Barrie Ontario. My Dad was then transferred to Nova Scotia and we packed up and moved to Kingston , so my dad could work at CFB Greenwood. I went to high school for 2 years at west kings district high and graduated. I had heard of several girls who went to California to persue careers involving horses so I sent away for info and I was accepted to Rawhide Vocational college. raining horses and really discovering who I was. I returned to Canada in March of 2006 upon graduating from college. I worked a few short term jobs over the summer then enrolled at Nova Scotia agricultural college. I was taking a Bachelor of science, but after 2 years became interested in becoming a veterinary technician and applied to and was accepted in the program. I met my now husband Kevin during the summer of 1997. I had my dads new chevy and he had his parents labrador retriever and that is where the attraction started, we talked and were friends for a while and things grew from there. we were married in May 2000, I graduated from the Vet Tech program in May 2002, and my wonderful son Alexander was born in September 2002. Johnathon joined our family in July of 2006. We picked up and moved to Manitoba in November of 2006 so Kevin could continue working for John Deere. Life has pretty much been work and home since then. My dream is still to own a horse farm , and I would love to bring some bloodlines to NS from California. For now I share my life with Alex,John, Kevin , dog Jake, Cats Pickle and Macatma, and Horse spark. Things are good I guess, with the usual lumps and bumps. I hope all is well with everyone who knows me, and that life is good.
