Denise's Story
Life
I have 3 kids, but only 1 left at home: Derek owns his own business and is the proud papa of my grandaugher, Amira; Linsey is a veterinarian and the proud mama of my first granddaugher, Kylie (and yes, both Derek and Linsey are married to wonderful people!); Melissa is a senior at Lewis & Clark High School and very involved in theatre. They are all smart, funny and independent. I have incredible kids and am extremely proud of them!
I have been involved with local theatre since 1979. I was in the cast of a Civic Theatre production that won the AACT National Community Theatre Festival in Omaha and represented the US in Monte Carlo in 1989.
My favorite thing to do is travel. I've been to most of the Western US, Hawaii, Mexico, New York, Monaco and Denmark. I would like to spend more time in Europe and see the Ca...Expand for more
ribbean in the near future. Once my last child, Melissa, is off to college I will be relocating to Scottsdale, Arizona.
School
I attended Linwood, Salk and Rogers. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and will be starting my MBA program soon.
Career
I am the Market Controller and Business Manager for Clear Channel Radio in Spokane. We have 6 radio stations: KPTQ AM (Progressive Talk 1280), KISS, KIX96, 103.1 KCDA, KKZX & KQNT AM (Newstalk 590).
I also have a freelance voice-over business. I do voice work for TV, radio, corporate projects & phone answering systems all over the country. I have been the computer voice for Washington Trust Bank for over 15 years.
Military
I'm far too much of a wimp for military service, but have nothing but admiration and gratitude for those who protect the rest of us.
