In 2011, I retired, remarried, and relocated from my adopted hometown of Atlanta, where I spent the last 35 years, to Orlando, Florida. I attended Pennington, Traphagen, A.B. e CBS affiliate in Charleston (SC), five universities and five years as press secretary/speechwriter for Coretta Scott King, I've also been a published freelance writer since the early 1990s. My two sons, Brian, a doctor in Atlanta, and Kevin, a senior project manager at an engineering firm in Japan, each graced me with a granddaughter, Perri and Diamond, who, although now college girls, remain the loves of my life.
