Denise's Story
My mom passed away on 10/21/08 after being in the UNC Burn Unit ICU for 5 weeks. She was 80 years old. I miss her like crazy. All I can tell you all is - call your mother and tell her you love her - no matter what. My Dad passed away on 01/14/09, after being ill for many years - mom kept him well.
I have been happily married for 12+ years to my husband Bradford. We have a 14 year old daughter and a 11 year old...Expand for more
son. We live in North Monterey County in an unincorporated area known as Royal Oaks (Watsonville). We own a modest home. I am one of the many pink slipped teachers in the PVUSD. In 9 days I will be unemployed. My husband is a Mechanical Engineer and is currently employed by a local manufacturer of after-market motorcycle parts. My kids are creative, fun, and keep us hopping!
